Welcome to A Text From My Cat, a service provided by The Dashing Peach, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By texting our number or using our service in any way, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
A Text From My Cat is an AI-powered SMS service that creates a personalized, simulated texting experience based on your cat's personality. The responses you receive are generated by artificial intelligence and do not represent actual communication from your cat. The service is intended to be fun, warm, and entertaining.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use A Text From My Cat. By using this service, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. If we discover that a user is under 18, we reserve the right to terminate their account immediately and issue a refund for any unused portion of their subscription.
A Text From My Cat offers a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. After your trial period ends, continued use of the service requires a paid subscription at one of the following rates: $4.99/month (monthly subscription, auto-renewing), $47.99/year (annual subscription, auto-renewing, billed once per year).
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize The Dashing Peach, LLC to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan) until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by texting CANCEL to (228) 295-0527 and (228) 231-5233. Cancellation takes effect immediately. We do not offer refunds for partial months or partial years.
A Text From My Cat offers gift subscriptions. Gift subscriptions are one-time purchases and are not auto-renewing. The gift recipient will receive a link to activate their subscription. Upon expiration of a gift subscription, the recipient may choose to continue with a paid monthly or annual subscription. Gift subscriptions are non-refundable once redeemed.
Each phone number may be associated with one cat profile. The service is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
You agree to use A Text From My Cat only for lawful, personal purposes. You agree not to use the service to harass, threaten, or harm others, attempt to reverse engineer or manipulate the AI system, use the service for any commercial purpose without our written consent, or share your account access with others.
All responses from your cat are generated by artificial intelligence. While we work hard to make the experience feel personal and authentic, we make no guarantees about the accuracy, appropriateness, or consistency of AI-generated content. The service is for entertainment purposes.
We have implemented safeguards to prevent harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content. If you receive a response that seems inappropriate, please contact us at meow@atextfrommycat.com.
By signing up, you consent to receive recurring automated SMS messages from The Dashing Peach, LLC including your cat's responses, scheduled check-in messages, weekly Clawroscopes, the Weekly Purrspective recap, holiday messages, and birthday messages.
Messages may be sent from either (228) 295-0527 or (228) 231-5233 depending on your subscription type. The second number (228) 231-5233 is used exclusively for add-on second cat accounts purchased by existing subscribers. All opt-out and messaging terms apply equally to both numbers — reply STOP to either number to unsubscribe from that account.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. You may opt out at any time by texting STOP to (228) 295-0527 and (228) 231-5233. After opting out, you will no longer receive messages from us.
The A Text From My Cat name, logo, and all associated content and technology are owned by The Dashing Peach, LLC. You may not use our branding or content without our written permission.
A Text From My Cat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on AI-generated content.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Dashing Peach, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by sending a message from your cat. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
